Easily, it's The Ricochet Podcast. Fridays stand out for me because I know a new episode has dropped.
Why do I keep coming back?
The main reason is that I have a personal connection with the community around Ricochet.
I've had a chance to meet one of the founders and co-hosts, Peter Robinson, in person a few times over the years.
I've met up with other members at events in various locations, too. When I listen to the podcast or visit the website, I see avatars but I remember the faces.
The substance is what counts, and the guests deliver. There is depth and color to the perspectives they share.
You'll even hear from guests who vote Democrat on this podcast hosted by conservatives.
I believe you learn something new everyday, and the podcast will cover you one day each week.
"Happy Hour" Vibe
I've been a political junkie for years, reading the "big ideas" books, following the news, and debating on Facebook. I worked in politics full-time as a pollster.
But I'm not a fanatic.
Like anything in life, it should be enjoyed. The civil, cocktail-party like tone gives a much-needed dose of sanity.
