I'm constantly having ideas. I'm sure you do to. How would life be if we did it all?
I think a lot. Sometimes ideas are popping out like a raging popcorn machine. Other times it's as dry as 4 day old bread. Some of these ideas may be the next best thing (for me) and I'm being hard on myself by thinking I can do it all in the next 12 months. I also tell myself it's not realistic, then back to wanting to do it all in one shot.
Truth is, a great deal of them don't matter. We just need to identify the ones that really do and throw the rest of them on a backburner.
How Do You Go About Deciding What Matters?
One way to answer this question is simply asking this:
Where do you want your life to go?
Do you want to progress technically in your career? Do you want to improve your physical (and mental) health? Do you want to become an entrepreneur?
Let's face it. We want it all (at least I do), but a starting point helps. So spending sometime with this question will be more rewarding than you think.
In the nascent stages of your career? Maybe focus on technical growth and health OR being an entrepreneur and health. Clearly, doing both is counterproductive.
Does This Solve Your Confusion?
Probably not. I'm not a magician, neither are you.
Nonetheless, you ARE capable. Just equip yourself with some tools - patience, kindness (to yourself) and an endless sense of curiosity.

Do Something Today?
Grab a piece of paper and list down all the things you want to do. They might be unrealistic at this point, but wanting to do them means something. It's not an empty desire. It matters.
Pick one (at most two) items of focus for today, this month or even this year and deconstruct the steps needed to achieve it.
The rest? On the backburner. You get to them once you're done with what matters now.
