Day 12: Getting Back into the Gym and Old Habits After Stopping Them
Alberto Abrahantes ๐Ÿงข

At some point in my journey, I would stop attending the gym which would stagger my progress. Through this fallout for the gym came a month where I wouldn't go and as a result, I'd lose more than a month of progress. However, this wasn't for no reason I need to I needed to focus on school and on my college applications. This sacrificed a habit of mine which was going to the gym from 12:30 to 2:30 every day. With that, I then moved onto a new stage that was very awkward for me. Trying to get back into an old habit.

After this month of not going, I would come to the first week in which I would try to start going again. At first, it was rough trying to go out of nowhere my body wouldn't want to go but, my head was telling me to it was really weird since it used to be part of my life for almost a year before I took the month off. I was actually roaring to go again but that small break broke my consistency.

It took me around 2 weeks until I was able to fully get back to my old habit and schedule of attending the gym but in the time in that 2 weeks, it was a pain and struggle. I would only go once or twice in those 2 weeks and only after I decided to weigh myself I remembered my goal and decided it was time to give it my 100 again. Thanks to the fact that I gained weight in that 1-month span of not attending the gym I decided to dive back in to attain what I wished for. After getting back into the habit I can say that I wouldn't want to ever stop again even knowing I may have to the path is hard and treacherous but never give up.
