Day 16: Exhaustion After Working Out and the Feeling of Not Being Able To Do Something else

Exhaustion was very strong when I first started working out and I'd struggle to be able to find things to do outside of the gym since I was so tired already. I'd see myself going to sleep around 3 hours earlier than I'd normally and would lose time to do the things I enjoyed which brought in a little bit of regret. This regret came from a lack of time and such exhaustion which affected my social life as well.

I'd be less active, and less willing to go out and hang out with family due to being so tired. I wasn't exactly in like the right mind and it was something I needed to work on. The way I've dealt with exhaustion is by cutting back on my workouts. What I mean by this was that if I was completely exhausted and couldn't push through it then I'd take the day off from the gym and just go the next day. Since yes I was improving my health by going to the gym I was also clearly not improving it by being exhausted 24/7.

Through this method of controlling myself and not going to the gym till I'm exhausted every day with these usual breaks now in my schedule. I've been able to maintain a healthier mindset along with being more alive. I've been able to also do the other things I love whether it be play games or hang out with friends. Regulation is important so you don't overdue yourself with working on a goal no matter what it is.
