Day 18: Listening to Music While Working out Effect On Pushing Me Pass my Limits

Something as simple as listening to music may not sound like a factor that can motivate you to go past your limits or work harder for something. However, this has always been proven wrong for me since every time I listen to music while doing something I actually see myself being more productive. This obviously isn't something that'll work for just anyone or everyone but, for me, it has worked and proven to be one of the best ways to help me concentrate and overall perform better.

Applied at the gym I've been able to reach new weight limits that I didn't think I was ready for and without the music, I wasn't able to but, for some reason after I'd put my favorite song on or a song that gets me more excited, I feel as if I can do it and when I attempt it I get it done. Not mean I'm able to do a considerable gap in the sense of going from 100 lbs to 200 lbs. This has also applied to other things as well such as school work.

Although, listening to music has helped me it doesn't mean it'll help others I have friends who instead of listening to music need complete silence otherwise they don't function and can get overstimulated. The opposite can also occur where you may enjoy the rowdiness at the gym and that get you going knowing others are working just as hard as you.
