Day 20: Where My Gym Journey has Taken Me to Today
Alberto Abrahantes ๐Ÿงข

I started off at 200 pounds of fat. No muscle and no mobility. Tiredness would come immediately from a small sprint.

These are the minor reasons for starting my journey, not including the other negativity I'd give myself over my body and how I thought of myself. I didn't like my body and decided to change.

Just as any approach should be taken. Start off small, taking step-by-step in order to slowly progress and become consistent. Instead of diving head forward, I stepped in slowly at first just doing cardio to lose weight.

Eventually after discovering what my final goal is at the gym that's when I then started implementing different workouts to my routine to slowly start building some muscle mass.

This was the way that I went about working towards my goal of losing weight as after I lost a lot of weight I wanted to work on something else which led to me working on building muscle and trying to maintain weight.

Slowly it became more complicated as well as I started tracking my calories making sure I'd a certain amount and not go too high while also being careful with what it was I was intaking to my body. For example not eating as many sugary foods or snacks as I used to.

Lately, I've been able to stay consistent and see the significant change even if it may seem minor to others. It all really is from the perspective and I'd have to say consistency is key and the driving force to achieving anything.
