I have posted an essay or a thread on Twitter every day for 63 days.

Here are 4 things I've come away with.

I've changed my habits in many ways due to inspiring posts and stories from several of my Twitter friends.

  • I meditate every morning.

  • I exercise every morning.

  • I journal every day.

  • I've begun an exercise/weight loss journey that's way overdue.

  • I've become more outgoing, commenting and engaging on posts.

Twitter can be a harsh environment, but I've seen nothing but good so far.

  • I've made many friends.

  • Everybody is supportive, engaging, and unselfish.

  • There are no hidden agendas. People just want to help others succeed.

  • So many people have done so many great things and are willing to share with no strings attached.

I've learned so much new information from so many experts. I've learned about:

  • Idea generation

  • Writing cadence

  • Tactical vs. strategic thinking and planning

  • Copywriting

  • Marketing

  • Fitness methods

I've read many new books based on recommendations from Twitter. Some of the better ones so far:

  • Storyworthy by Matthew Dicks

  • Atomic Habits by James Clear

  • The Daily Stoic by Ryan Holiday and Stephen Hanselman

  • Factfulness by Hans Rosling

  • A Mind for Numbers by Barbara Oakley, Ph.D.

What have you gained from your writing journey?
