Everyone is trying to find their niche to leave the 9 to 5.

"The riches are in the niches" - everyone

How about creating a niche to level up your 9 to 5?

To create a niche you have to own a problem.

  • Creating a niche is not just for entrepreneurs or solopreneurs but intrapreneurs seeking to enrich the lives of others.

  • Creating a niche is more than just doing things that are unique to you

  • It is about solving problems nobody else is to make things better

Here are x steps to own a problem and create your niche:

Step #1. Make change happen for the sake of others

Becoming an intrapreneur means you have to be about purpose over profit.

Step #2. Discover your zone of genius

Determine what makes you different from your peers and which of those differences produces results.

Step #3. Find a problem you are passionate about.

What is your company doing - or not doing - that gets under your skin? What could be fixed that would drive results?

Step #3. Once you explain the problem, is it obvious to your peers?

If its not obvious, it will be a fleeting problem to solve.

Step #4. Solve the problem within your sphere of influence

The goal here is proof of concept for your problem.

Step #5. Solve it according to your strengths (zone of genius).

This is proof of concept for your niche.

Riches from niches aren’t only found when you leave the 9 to 5.

There’s a goldmine of opportunity right where you are.
