Mindfulness is something that is used worldwide. I have even used mindfulness in daily activities, but it benefited me the most when I was suffering from anxiety and depression. I discovered the act of mindfulness after reading the book the secret. I wanted to look into the whole new world of things that genuinely benefit you as a person. A lot of the time, we are mindful when we do not even know we are doing it. When I started looking into mindfulness, I started using some of the practices in my daily routine. That changed me as a person. I excelled so much more mentally and personally. Even though I was depressed, I felt light on my feet. It felt as if I was a new person. When I came to this realization, I started to take mindfulness seriously. I was going to start using mindfulness activities to try and better my depression and to gain that happiness that I once had before. So I started implementing some acts into my routine. Immediately I saw the results. With time I was gaining the light in me back. I felt happy as I did before. Mindfulness doesn't only need to be used when depressed. Mindfulness can advance all parts of your life if used correctly.
