Every human in every country throughout the world has experienced struggle, and as the world gets more and more complicated, more problems arise. The struggle will only increase among people; predominantly the poor, due to the socioeconomic gap and the benefits that the poor lack. All of the poverty, famine, genocide, and war in the world, leave a dark mood that settles along the majority. This leaves many suffering from depression.

One major problem that depression arouses is the number of people addicted to drugs, alcohol, and/or gambling. The quality of life is very poor for many around the world so it creates a need for escapism, which can be provided short-term with these methods. The issue with these things is that it only further cripples the people destroying their bodies, minds, and financial stability.

Another issue that depression brings upon people is the lack of motivation which leads to many people being left unemployed. Unemployment eventually may lead to homelessness, which is a rampant problem in many large cities throughout the world.
