Depression Correlates with Anxiety in More Ways than You Think.
Mario Gutierrez

Anxiety is an issue that deeply affects the life of certain people. Fear of the unknown and worry about what might happen are all symptoms of anxiety. Feelings of seemingly random panic called panic attacks also affect the person suffering from anxiety. The greater fear, panic towards, and worry about life all affect a person negatively and can deteriorate someone if left untreated, which can lead to depression.

Depression is defined by overall feelings of unhappiness and lack of motivation and is triggered by different things depending on the individual. The single common factor of all of these issues is the overall quality of life worsened, which can be due to many factors such as poverty, or the loss of a loved one, amongst other things. Anxiety inhibits people from experiencing life on the full spectrum due to retaining them from society and not taking any risks. Life not being able to be experienced to the fullest may drive people into dark places in their minds making them feel not worthy of living a normal life.

The issue with thinking in such a way is that it becomes a pattern, which is a direct path to a worsened quality of life. Being bullied, self-isolation, obsessive thoughts, and extreme panic will drive someone into being extremely unhappy.
