What My Dog Means To me
rachel alonso🧢

My dog is one of the most important things in my life, and for him I am grateful.

My dog Rufy is my soulmate, and I mean that with my whole heart. I found him 9 years ago on a street in the middle of the night all alone. He was alone and also clearly abused. I didn't think it twice about to take him home and I truly believe it was meant to be.

He has been my loyal friend for years now and has slept by my side for these nine years. He is a chihuahua-dachshund mix , with black fur and golden colored paws and eyebrows. With a white colored chest and big ears.

I am grateful for him and every moment I get to spend next to him. I truly value him. Through my hardest times he has always been there for me, through all my tears and sadness he has been there to console me. He has taught me a handful of gratitude. He will never judge me and loves just as I am, and that is what makes pets so special, because no matter what or who you are they will be there by your side.

I often think about the moment when he will leave my side to go to a better place. What will I do? When I think about this I feel sadness but I also feel grateful because it reminds me to appreciate the moment and be present. The day he leaves will be of great pain but even if he is not physically next to me I know he will always be next to me.
