Going to the Gym with Friends is a Great Way to Stay Consistent in College

Sometimes you don't feel like going to the gym, which is normal, but if you have friends willing to go with you, that might give you more motivation.

Doing anything with friends is a fantastic way to have a good time, but when it comes to going to the gym, which might not seem so enjoyable initially, friends can lift the burden a bit and make it much more fun.

The gym shouldn't be a place where you go to hang out and waste time and take up machines that other people could be using, but you can still have fun encouraging each other to push harder and even help each other get an extra rep or two out for a given exercise.

Another benefit is if you plan to go to the gym with your friends ahead of time, you now have a commitment that you should go through with.

Having a friend who has been going to the gym longer than you can also be a big help in your fitness journey as they will be able to guide you through their research and experience, making it easier for you to learn than if you had to do it on your own.

Again while going to the gym isn't an excellent idea for a hangout, it can be a lot of fun to work out with your friends, and you might even have a few good laughs and make some core memories that you can remember as time passes.
