7 product designs that haven't changed since they were invented. And you can spot most of them in The Godfather.

Did you know “product” used to refer to a physical thing? Here are 7 of them that look the same as when they were born.

Teapot Handle, lid, spout. Unchanged since the Yuan Dynasty. That’s several years before YETI released their travel mug.

Wine opener The classic corkscrew was invented in 1795ish. Anyone paying over 10 bucks for cork removal is wasting money.

Chinese takeout box est. 1894 from paper folded into a container. Shape hasn’t changed, guessing our idea of "leak-proof" has.

Paper clip They’re not just for taking out your SIM card. We’ve used oval-shaped wire to organize loose papers since 1899.

Hammer Handle with heavy hard thing at end. Bang. Doesn’t get more classic than that. Estimated life of design: thousands of years.

LEGO You can still use a piece from 1958 with your modern bricks.

Wingback chair Created in the 1600s by Thomas Chippendale, known for his elaborate handiwork. Kinda like Chippendales.

What did I miss?
