Most writing advice is overcomplicated.
All you need is a simple framework to captivate your readers from the first word.
The SUCKS Framework is built to do exactly that, keeping your audience hooked from start to finish.
Here are the 8 elements of the checklist:
Specificity
Does this follow the Rule of One?
Can I quantify it?
Unique and Useful
Does this change how my One True Fan thinks, feels or acts?
Have I written from personal perspective?
Can I include a framework?
Undeniable
Can I add more proof (authority by association, my story, or my clients)?
Clear
Who is this for?
What do they get?
Curious
Have I tapped into their problems and desires?
Can I use a surprising statistic, fact or statement?
Do I open loops?
Can I share a story?
Conversational
Am I speaking to a friend?
Can I use the work 'you' more?
Keep it Simple
Can I say this in less (remove the fluff)?
Is this grade 4 or less (use Hemingway)?
Structured
Is this skimmable?
Is it a slippery slide?
Does it sound good when I read it out loud?
