Instagram gets a bad rap for superficiality and adverse mental health effects, and I do not deny that's part of the online universe.
But there are plenty of accounts that can considerably improve your life.
Here are some that provide constant inspiration for feeling, eating, and moving in a better way. It only takes seconds to follow each, but I guarantee that after a few weeks of their content, you'll see what I mean.
I've included the first line of their most recent post to give a flavour of the type of content they share.
The Holistic Psychologist - "Witness how people respond to your boundaries, it will give you emotional feedback." (Follow if: you want to raise your EQ and self-awareness.)
Deliciously Ella - "You just can’t beat a hot apple crumble, here’s how to make a simple, plant-based one." (Follow if: you want healthy plant-based recipes.)
Jamie Varon - "Don't give up on yourself. Ever." (Follow if: you want to trust yourself more.)
Alexia Clark - "KETTLEBELLS! Have you ever used them?! Do you like them?" (Follow if: you want to get fitter.)
Yung Pueblo - "Sometimes you have to make hard decisions to preserve your well-being and so you can open the door to thriving in the future." (Follow if: you want soul-warming wisdom.)
Mark Hyman, M.D. - "If you’ve ever wondered what’s the worst breakfast to eat, or what the best thing to order at Chipotle might be, my guest on The Doctor’s Farmacy this week, @drcaseyskitchen, has some great insights for you." (Follow if: you want to optimise the way your body works.)
There are plenty more accounts out there, but these are a few favourites.
