Interconnecting rooms can be the holy grail when searching for a big hotel room give you two rooms joined together creating a bigger space for your family to enjoy.
But what are the different types of interconnecting rooms:
Standard Interconnecting Rooms: As it says on the tin this can be just 2 normal rooms with a door linking them, but no additional consideration as to how the rooms work together.
Suite Connection: Connecting a suite with a standard room. This gives you extra living space to enjoy.
Family Interconnecting Rooms: Interconnecting rooms specially designed for families. These may be sold together as one unit so it will be presented as one room when searching.
Ocean View Interconnecting Rooms: Can be named in different ways, but these are rooms with interconnected balconies rather than interconnection doors.
Adjoining Rooms. Be really careful with this one - it normally means that the room are just next to each other in the hotel, and likely have no actual interconnection at all.
While you may think interconnecting rooms are rare where you have the option there are several different interpretations. Make sure you choose the most suitable for you.
