How to Get Started with Digital Writing as a Complete Beginner
by Aldis Oz

When I first committed to learning online writing, I was lost.

Having watched a few Dan Koe videos, I was convinced that learning how to write online was THE valuable skill that I had to learn.

I just didn't know where to start.

If you're in a similar position...

Here's the best way to get started:

  1. Read This Book: The Art and Business of Online Writing by Nicolas Cole.

I wish someone had gifted me this book when I was 23 years old and had that first itch to try my hand at online entrepreneurship.

  2. Follow online business / digital writing accounts on X and LinkedIn.

Study them and save posts that resonate with you. Here are a few to get you started:

    ↳ Dan Koe (XLinkedIn)
    ↳ Dickie Bush (XLinkedIn)
    ↳ Dakota Robertson (XLinkedIn)
    ↳ Kieran Drew (XLinkedIn)
    ↳ Nicolas Cole (XLinkedIn)
    ↳ Tim Denning (XLinkedIn)

  3. Start writing daily: You won't feel ready. It'll feel uncomfortable at first.

    But you gotta start.

I highly recommend Ship 30 for 30 if you want a structured, proven way to build a daily writing habit (I'm using it right now).

  4. Buy and Take Courses

This is the more expensive route.

But it will accelerate your learning curve and your success significantly.

These 4 things alone will exponentially accelerate your learning process.
