I love reading newsletters.
But only the right newsletters.
(A lot are a waste of time, unfortunately.)
If you are at all interested in learning about peak performance, here are the 3 most worth your time:
1. Physiologically Speaking - Brady Holmer
Too many sport psychologists just think about mental performance as the avenue to greatness. If you don't understand what's happening under the hood, though, your work is less effective.
Brady's newsletter gives you a good, science-backed look into some of the basic questions of physiology. And, if you read it regularly, can help you have some basic discussions around physiology that make you more credible with clients.
2. Coach Craft - Cody Royle
Coaching and sport psychology are remarkably similar, and being a great sport psychologist requires understanding the great coaches.
Cody gives you a simple breakdown of the all-time greats and their best practices on a regular basis and even gives ideas for how coaches could implement these practices themselves. If you work with coaches, this is for you.
3. Wes Kao's Newsletter
Wes tackles some of the most common management challenges - especially those that are unspoken. A lot of her work includes information on how to lead more effectively, how to manage people problems, and how to improve your management.
Performance is ultimately a people business - and Wes's insights can help you work better with the people on your team.
