Lately, I've been putting obsessed at rebuilding my Finance OS. I'm far from perfecting it. I'm countless hours in and far from perfecting it.

Here's my journey so far:

A Finance OS is every process and system in place to manage inflow and outflow of my personal finances & related businesses that contribute to me.

From inflow, to outflow, to tax filing, to SM LLC management.

- Disappointment across all the personal finance apps as they focus purely on "static budgets"

- Existing apps like Mint seem abandoned

- Everyone can do individual personal; if you are solopreneur or SM LLC structure, you are forgotten

- Biforcate the various projects, entities, and informal entities

- Millennial style so I don't want to talk to someone, clearly

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗱𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝘀𝗼 𝗳𝗮𝗿?

- Research and applied different finance frameworks

- Built a cob-web of Google Sheets ingesting, classifying, and summarizing data

- Using Gusto to do quarterly / employer deadlines

- Tried QB but I think I'm overthinking it

My journey so far. Heavily influenced by my readings observations, and work with actual small businesses.

If I had a pen and could do a broad stroke, I would strike out "the fear and chaos small businesses have with financials".
