Confession on this Superbowl Sunday. I have no idea how football works.

I've tried.

I could say I've learned it, but I believe I have learned a traumatizing version of it for the die-hard fans out there.

What I do know is how food works, and that to me is my favorite part of football culture.

In the spirit of gatherings, I have enjoyed the attention and focus that people have in making sure:

- Drinks are there

- Snacks are ready

- Dips are presented

- And friends and soon to be friends were gathered

Along with food, is the banter that comes with food.

And because it's sports, there are bets and impossibility plays comes that comes with the territory.

So to everyone out there who has no idea what's going on today but everyone is hyped about it-

The best time to get the extra chicken wing you are eyeing is when a "play" is in motion, or when there's a dispute.

p.s. I also have no idea how golf works.
