Job crafting is the process where employees actively redesign their job roles to better align with their skills, interests, and values.
🛠️ Over the years, CliftonStrengths has helped me craft Project Management role that suits the way I work best.
🛠️ Here are some of the questions I asked myself:
• Do I prefer kicking off a project, or brought into crisis situations?
• To what extend do I have the freedom to make project-related decisions?
• How do I feel about working with a fully remote project team and customer?
🛠️ I learned that:
• my #1 Relator really prefers some face-to-face time rather than being fully remote.
• my #5 Responsibility requires autonomy to establish psychological ownership over the project.
• my #7 Deliberative and #10 Restorative really thrive in reacting to uncertainty by bringing stability
This exercise has given me the words and awareness to select the projects, teams, environment that I know suits me strengths so I can perform at my best.
