How to Use the 80/20 Rule to Write Better Articles
Ayodeji 🚢

If you spend the most time on the least important parts of your articles, you won't get tons of views no matter how hard you try.

If you focus most of your time on 20 percent of your articles, your views will skyrocket.

1) Headline: If nobody clicks, nobody reads. Practice writing 10 headlines per day.

2)Intro: Use a one-sentence opener that polarizes your audience, sparks curiosity, or sets the sage for the story

3)Subheadings: Treat sub-headings like the headline for each section of your blog posts

4)Intro and close of each section: Start each section of your post with a one-liner to hook the reader in. End with a transition into the next section.

5)Conclusion: Use a 'motivational rallying cry' to inspire your audience to take action. Leave them with a feeling that lasts.

Properly packaging your articles matters just as much, if not more, than the words in between.
