Ever felt like trash after a big feed of junk food?
Don't compound your depressive feelings by eating poorly.
Lean meats, vegetables, fruits and lots of water while you push through your low feelings.

Cut out alcohol/recreational drug use.
Alcohol and drugs mixed with depressive feelings are not a good combination for obvious reasons.

F - Family/Friends
Lean on your circle of family and friends to bring you out of a funk.
I've found that although they may annoy me, being around people who have your best intersts at heart is restorative.

A simple hug. Holding each other on the couch. Cuddles with your pet.

I've struggled with mental problems for much of my life, however implementing parts of the SCAFA system when things are down has helped me overcome the mood dips.
