Great ideas can do 100X better than a good idea.
If you're a creator who wants outsized returns for your effort, then constant ideation and idea filtering will help you do that.
I was listening to Jay Clouse's interview with Paddy Galloway today.
He has the CCN framework for ideas.
CCN stands for core, casual, and new. These are words to talk about your niche and audience.
For example, my niche is mechanical keyboards.
I have my core audience which watches the majority of my videos, my casual audience that watches videos here and there, and my new audience that maybe has never seen a video from me before.
The same can be applied to the mechanical keyboard niche. There are hardcore members who pay attention to every single keyboard that comes out, the casual hobbyists who purchase now and then, and a new member who wants to buy their first keyboard.
Anyways, for ideas, Paddy recommends to come up with ideas that can hit all 3 groups if you want to maximize views.
