KneesOverToesGuy did what I can't.
He made rehab exercises sexy for injured athletes.
Here's what we can learn from his content strategy, his framework, and what we can do better as coaches and educators:🧵
He made progressive overload sexy.
If you see Ben on Instagram, TikTok, or Youtube Shorts you are hit with a 'freaky' thing right away:
• Dunks
• Splits
• Jumping off a ladder
This is by design for credibility and engagement.
Look at this crazy thing I can do!
TikTok and IG not textbooks and lectures.
On Ep. 673 of the Mark Bell Power Podcast with Kelly Starrett, he outlines his social media strategy completely.
Vertical video: 30s long, words on screen, cut as much as possible.
Posts to TT, FB and IG Reels, and YT.
Make it binge-able:
After being on Rogan's podcast, Ben went back to basics and made a Knee Education series.
His first 3 videos banged.
So what did he do?
Part 4.
Last I saw he put out 17.
He'll keep putting them out until it's one 15 min binge worthy playlist.
He shows what's possible from where you're at.
See how he sucked, now look at him!
He can't sprint or jump.
Always in pain!
He knows exactly how to twist the knife while also giving the promise of hope.

Here's what you can do.
You're the expert.
You know progressive overload works.
You know how to progress and regress an exercise.
You know the perfect substitutes.
You know program design.
How can you take your work and put it in his framework?
None of his exercises are new. They are all a remix.
Even Ben's whole brand is built around one thing: a knees over toes squat ATG through a full range of motion.
If you look at the exercises from his zero program, nothing is 'new'.
Coaches get bent out of shape because this isn't new, this is something 100 years old with a new name.
Cool!
Kids don't care about a history lesson.
If your kid watches a TikTok of someone dunking and they can't dunk they're gonna try that exercise.
Guaranteed.
They can't pronounce Verkhoshansky.
They think plyometric is an energy drink name.
They want to run faster, jump higher, and do it all pain free.
That's what you want too! Meet them where they are at.
Create content in a way they'll consume and share with others.
Ben Steals like an artist.
• Poliquin's upper body standards
• Peterson Step up
• Marty Saint Louis Nordics
• Knees over toes squat
• ATG Squat
He worked with these exercises to make his system.
What is your remix?
What does your system look like?
He loves backwards walking, sled work, and slant boards.
These tools have been used in isolation.
He brought them together and put specific metrics and targets to hit in time, reps, and load.
You already use these.
He made it accessible and mastered the social media element.
TL;DR
KneesOverToesGuy has mastered social media for rehab exercises.
• It's all a remix
• Steal like an artist
• Make it bingeworthy
• Create content to be shared.
• Twist the knife, then give hope
• Make progressive overload sexy
• Use TikTok, IG, FB, and YT shorts
