2 Freakin' years.
That's how long it's been since I started writing online with ship30. I've shipped hundreds of essays, built websites, products, and even landed multiple jobs because of my writing...
And yet I still feel lost as a writer.
Weird isn't it?
I've seen shipmates ghost their readers, never to be seen again. I've seen friends go viral for 1 or 2 posts and suddenly stop. I've seen amazing bona-fide authors give up in months.
And yet I'm still here. Still creating.
Because I know. Deep down. That I have something to share.
Writing online isn't just hard. It's really fucking hard.
It's like trying to find your way in a dark cave. You can't see where you're going and you don't know what's around the corner. And every time you think you've reached the exit, you've realized it's just another detour.
You must battle with your own insecurities, fight the urge to self-edit every single sentence, and wade through a tsunami of other peoples successes without caving in to comparison.
So if you're writing online right now.. cheers. 🍻
It's not easy to write online. But that's what makes it so worth it.
