I have been practicing productivity skills for 25+ years.
From creating a well-run (large) household to running a small real estate office to supporting top executives, the need to be more productive is always present.
Along the way, I have done all sorts of things to try to get better:
Read 7 Habits of Highly Effective People
Listened to the Getting Things Done Podcast
Hired numerous coaches and mentors
Etc.
And all of these things helped me a ton.
But if I had to start all over again (as a beginner), this is the simple framework I wish I had for learning how to boost my productivity:
Step 1: Start The Day Off Right
Create a solid morning routine that you can (and will) do consistently each day.
Step 2: Set Yourself Up For Success
Select your daily big three the night before so you can jump right on it in the AM.
Step 3: Stay Focused On Your Goals
Take time to review your goals and plans every day so you can tweak them as you go.
When you're first starting out, this will keep you focused on the things that move the needle in your life and business.
