How To Be Intentional With Your First 90 Minutes...So You Create Momentum On Your Day & Life
by Chase Arbeiter

You can make a lot of progress on your big vision goals if you learn to maximize your first 90 minutes out of bed.

Moving your biggest goals forward first thing in the morning empowers the rest of your day and provides a high-level focus for your life. This level of direction aids your energy to accomplish necessary tasks towards your life's vision.

Unfortunately, the first 90 minutes of the day are not a game-changer for many people.

Many people wake up in reactionary mode.

Waking up in reactionary mode almost always sets a bad tone for your day. Here are some of the biggest problems.

  • Not enough sleep

  • Day has no plan.

  • Missing a purposeful morning routine.

If you have this problem, no worries, here are three easy steps to help provide more intention and purpose heading into each new day to pursue your dreams with better execution.

Here's how, step by step:

Step 1: Take 10 minutes each evening to fill out a daily planner!

"He who fails to plan is planning to fail." — Winston Churchill

Knowing what you want to accomplish each day is one thing. Establishing when you will, is quite another.

When will your write for your one-hour block? When will you work out? When will you make those sales calls?

Don't let the day slip by because you didn't have a plan.

Step 2: Design an evening routine that sets you up for success!

My unsuccessful stretches in life heavily correlate with a lack of execution of a successful evening routine—even more than a morning routine.

If you are to build small habits that improve your life and help serve your mission, you must put the 'votes' in, as James Clear would say, for this future self.

Would the person you are pursuing, through your goals, not be strict in his evening routine execution? Probably not.

Step 3: Execute a powerful morning routine!

Now it's time to get to the stuff that will move you closer to where you want to be.

If you get steps 1 and 2 right, the execution of the morning routine will be so much simpler.

Eventually, these 3 things will combine to give you an easy 1-2-3 punch that builds significant momentum towards crushing your days—then, ultimately, your life!
