📝Sketchnoting

3y ago

I share about being more creative and effective learning through visual thinking and note taking.

I make 10 times more digital sketchnotes than analogue ones.

I do it not just because it's easy to undo mistakes, but I only need an iPad and Apple Pencil and I can try out thousands of different brushes and styles.

Although there are many great sketchnoting apps, here are the 3 I keep coming back to.

Here are my 3 favourite apps to make digital sketchnotes:

  1. Procreate: With a fantastic brush market, multiple layers and a cool Timelapse feature, procreate has been my staple for years. It can feel overwhelming though unlike...

  2. Paper by WeTransfer: A classic and the first drawing app I got on an iPad. A simpler tool set which has a distinct style.

  3. Concepts: Sometimes I need to make an SVG, in that situation I call in the big guns. Concepts. I'm playing with Concepts more at the moment for other sketchnotes.

There are a couple of other markup apps I used like goodnotes, but these 3 are my staples. What about you?
