Eating and How It Affects Your Mood
christina🧢

It’s a known fact that food gives people their energy, there’s a saying that breakfast is the most important meal of the day… now why’s that? Starting your day with a good ol’ breakfast meal boosts your energy and is required for your health.

I personally know some people who get this thing called being “hangry”, when they don’t eat for a long period of time. Mixing this “hangriness” plus a lack of energy creates a horrible mood and it shows in their body language as well as the way they speak. I know that not all people deal with this feeling, like myself but there’s a variety of people I’ve encountered in my life who have dealt with this and have shown signs of aggressiveness and irritability up until they get food in their systems.

I would occasionally skip breakfast when I was younger and saw a change in my attitude and the way I felt. I would walk around going on about my day and felt extremely exhausted and felt even sick at some points when I would engage in this habit. I came to a quick realization that food is pretty important not only if you want to survive but if you want to live a normal and happy life. If you stuck with a healthy routine there would be less mood swings and a happier outlook on this beautiful life, we have the chance of living.
