I've been in the affiliate marketing game since the early 2000s and I think it's the perfect side hustle for busy moms.

Here are 3 major reasons why I point moms to affiliate marketing:

1. Work when you can

When you’re a busy mom, you have a lot of things to deal with. Kids' practices, dinner, the pile of laundry that's turned into Mt. Kilimanjaro, and the 5,678 other tasks that need to be done.

That’s why you need a side hustle that’s completely on your own time. Affiliate marketing perfectly fits into this category. You work on it when you can. 

2. You don’t need to make phone calls

Kids are completely unpredictable. They can be quiet the entire day, and as soon as you pick up the phone, they become raging maniacs. It’s like it’s wired into their brains to have this impeccable timing. 

A lot of side hustles require being on the phone. Not with affiliate marketing. It’s just you, and your computer. The kids can rage all they want in the background. 

3. You don’t need to sell to your friends and family

I am pretty down on MLMs (multi-level marketing companies) because I’ve been in one and I know what they’re like. You feel a lot of pressure to sell overpriced items to your friends and family that they don’t want or need. 

(And let's not forget the fact that you need to buy those overpriced products yourself every single month...)

With affiliate marketing, you don't need to sell to your friends and family. In fact, no one ever needs to know what you’re doing. You can be completely stealthy about the whole thing if you want.
