Did you ever want to:

• Export an image in @affinitybyserif Designer and

• Keep proper aspect ratio

• While having a specific output width or height in mind?

Does it annoy you to have to make some math to decide the export resolution?

Well, you don’t need to!

Here's how:

When ready to export:

1. Go to the export persona

2. Set the layer you want to export to the number of pixels, and end in h or w for height and width respectively

For example, you have a 1920 x 1080 px image that you want to export as a 1000 x N px?

Then you export it as 1000w.

This will automatically calculate the necessary height while keeping aspect the proper ratio

• In the above example, the output would be 1000 x 562 px

• 1000h instead, would output 1777 x 1000 px

• The amount of math needed on your end is exactly 0

What's not to like?
