Welcome to my Social Blog

Brian Tracy, author of Eat That Frog book recommends using the ABCDE Method.

“A” indicates very important and must be done today. Brian Tracy calls this type of tasks as the ugliest frog of all.

“B” indicates tasks that should be done. These tasks have mild consequences. Brian Tracy calls these tasks as the tadpoles. These tasks are not as important as the “A” task.

“C” indicates tasks that would be nice to do and these do not have any consequence. For example, have a drink with your friend or co-worker.

“D” indicates tasks to be delegated to someone else.

“E” indicates tasks to be eliminated from the list.

Write down all the tasks you want to accomplish today.

If you have more than one most important tasks for the day, ideally three, then indicate “A-1”, “A-2”… next to each task.

Indicate rests of the tasks with BCDE.

Now start with the ugliest frog “A-1” and take action immediately.

Use time boxing the task to get it done before moving to the next frog “A-2”.

This method can be used daily at home and at work. Try this every day for the next 30 days. You will see your productivity sky rocket in this time.
