For Cuba as for any other country, dance is an essential key in every life.
There are different types of dances that represent Cubans such as salsa, merengue, mambo, among others, all of them distinguished by their unique way of dancing and characterized by offering a good atmosphere and joy to all those who they dance it and those present.
When I still lived in Cuba it was very interesting to be at parties and dances with your friends and family since they always made you have fun and dance like there was not tomorrow.
At that time, I was very shy, and I did not open myself enough to that type of Cuban dance, but as I grew older, I developed more and began to recognize how valuable it was to bring Cuban dance as something representative.
The dance of Cuba is not only for Cubans, many people from other countries also practice it and enjoy it equally.
I remember how my mom taught me to dance salsa and from there my love for dance arose. Although nowadays I no longer usually perform many traditional Cuban dances, I do not forget that my beginnings were, in very special and joyful times for me, that have made me what I am today, and I like it with respect to dance.
A beautiful fantasy of mine would be to see many people from all over the world dancing all kinds of dances from all kinds of cultures, because after all, what better way to unite us internationally than dance and the mixture of cultures in music at the time to dance.
