Founder & CEO @glean.co
I recently signed up for Dickie Bush & Nicolas Cole's cohort-based course, Ship 30 for 30.
I have spent over a decade reading the opinions, insights and ideas of others online. Moreover, doing so has been invaluable on my journey as CEO of Glean.
It was time to start sharing what I had learned.
Why I want to write online:
"How can I know what I think until I see what I say?“
I believe conversation and discussion to be essential components of the forging of good ideas. The hammering of concepts only increases their strength. Why limit this to those only in my immediate physical vicinity when there is a world of much more learned people at there for me to speak with?
"Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication."
Through the process of writing one can understand how to express complex thoughts in simple terms.
I have things to say on some important topics that I would like to share with the world.
Equally, I would like to know what the world thinks of what I have to say.
What next?
Over the next 30 days, I plan on writing about three very different topics:
Why students drop out of college and what we can do about it
What we're doing and Glean and why it matters
Lessons learned on the journey so far
Join me as I start my online writing journey. I'm super open to thoughts and feedback so please comment!
