Many people struggle with this annoying message repeatedly appearing on the screen of their PC's making it hard to do much without it surfacing, and eventually "Activate Windows" watermark appears..

Personally, I have recently. When suddenly the laptop i was using started showing me that message and i could barely complete a sentence in my writing before this window popped up on screen, blocking my view and activity. I didn't enjoy it.

This took me hunting for a solution. And as soon as I implemented what i am about to share, I understood that overcoming "Your license will expire soon" wasn't that hard—and anyone else can do it if they know how.

Here's how to solve:

Recover the OEM marker Key embedded in the motherboard.

Your Windows License will expire soon pop-up window that you can sometimes get in Windows 10 is annoying, but solveable. If you look at the activation window you will also see that Windows 10 Home is activated using your organization's activation service. And the option given is to 🔑 change product key, which sometimes you don't have.

But here's how to access your Windows license key.

Steps:

1. Press Windows key ⊞ + x (this will bring up a list)

2. Select the task manager. While here, click on file, and choose run new task.

3. A new smaller window will appear, open command prompt by typing cmd in the open space availed, you want to make sure you select that as an administrator so below the space provided simply click on the checkbox written on create this task with administrative privileges.

4. A new window will open (usually black in colour). Then you enter the command below:

   wmic path SoftwareLicensingService get OA3xOriginalProductKey

5. Then press Enter. The product key will be revealed. Copy the product key and enter it when you click change the product key in the update and security activation window.

   Problem solved. You can restart your computer if you wish.
