One of the fundamental questions to ponder throughout your life:
Are you living the life you most deeply desire to become your best self?
I was a nun for 8 years, and I reflected on that very question through consistent journaling and a periodic review each year. This reflection and review within a community of nuns resulted in the most profound growth I have had in my life.
You don't have to be a nun or a monk to live a meaningful life.
Mindfulness journaling and doing a periodic review are a way to help you live a reflective, intentional life. The review can be done annually, quarterly, or monthly. Find a rhythm of reflection that works best for you.
Here are 8 journal prompts I learned as a nun to help you live your best life.

Decisions - What choices have you made to foster your spiritual growth?
Growth in Relationships - In what ways have you grown in your relationships? What are your gifts? Your struggles?

Lessons Learned - What have you learned from your professional experience and service to others? What have you learned about your gifts and limitations through these endeavors?
Commitments - How has your commitment to the way you live your life deepened? What has been your resistance? What has felt easy? Almost natural?
Life Patterns - What are the patterns you are discovering in your life, how your higher power acts with you, and your response to your higher power and others?
Accountability - How have you taken responsibility for your life by being who you are?
