My Top 3 Go-To Tools Running a Fully Remote Software Company
Dennis Seymour

I love remote work. ❤️

Don’t get me wrong, it’s great to go out and be with your peers in person but I do not miss the traffic in Manila, not one bit.

And since we are a fully remote company here at SeriousMD and NowServing, we have a handful of tools that we use over and over again.

They have become part of our day to day lives, and I recommend them to anyone and everyone that are looking for possible solutions for their own companies.

Here are (some) of my favorite tools to do remote work:

  1. Discord: Everybody knows what it is, but it’s underrated as a business tool. If there’s an issue, we can just jump in and do a meeting in the voice channels. No need to setup a Zoom link and all that.

  2. Notion: Store your second brain here, your company OS, your projects, track your progress, processes and so on. As you continue to grow, you’ll need to be able to share knowledge faster across the people in your company.

  3. Shortcut: Every software company would need a project management platform and we just love Shortcut more than the others.

If you end up using these tools for your remote or hybrid company, let me know what you think! 🔥
