You've heard about the bug-out bag right? the preppers pre packed bag with all the essentials you can grab when SHTF.

Well, what i'm talking about is something similar from the German Army. it's called “Alarmstuhl” (alert chair)

it's basically where you have all your clothes set on a chair in a particular sequence so you can get dressed in complete darkness and be ready to go in an instant.

Prior to this, It never occurred to me to arrange my work clothes in one area let alone in a sequence to put them on.

When I had to get dressed for work,I was all over the place. looking for belt, shoes, shirt, etc. I even tried hanging everything on a clothes rack in the bathroom. The alert chair method is far more effective.

Here's how it works:

You have a chair set up by your bed.

And you place your work outfit in the sequence in which you normally get dressed. Underwear, pants, shirt, coat.

What comes off last is now the first thing on the pile or stack of clothes.

This method, when done correctly can enable you to get dressed in under 5 minutes.

If you also have a work bag, just prep it with the things you use everyday phone, wallet, keys, notebook etc.

By combining these two methods, (I do the “Alarmstuhl” by habit, now ) I'm always prepped for work and don't have to run around looking for anything because it's already set up.

Give it a shot. you'll be surprised at the time you'll save
