A journal entry a day keeps the madness away.
Journaling is a great outlet for exploring your thoughts and emotions. Your journal is your friend and your therapist.
However, sometimes it can be daunting to look down at an empty page and not know what to do.
No worries, I've got you. Here are 5 types of journal entries you can use as guides for self-reflection
1. Stream of consciousness writing: Just write! Write without stopping for a set amount of time (maybe 20 minutes or so), letting your thoughts flow freely.
2. Bullet journaling: Deep down we all love lists, don't we? Create lists and use symbols to organize your thoughts. This is a great way to track your progress on your life's journey.
3. Gratitude journaling: Write down things you are grateful for each day. By doing this, you're cultivating a positive mindset that will spur you on during the low points of your day.
4. Mind mapping: Doodle to your heart's content. Use visual diagrams to explore the relationships between your ideas and uncover new insights you never knew you had.
5. Prompt-based journaling: Prompts are guideposts to help you navigate your way through the maze of your mind. Respond to specific questions or prompts to dive deeper into your thoughts and emotions.
