I know I've mentioned a clipboard extender in this series but I install an app that extends the functionality of my clipboard extender ... how meta is that? 🤣
Copying and pasting shouldn't be a science but sometimes it feels like it is
For the majority of situations having a history of what you've copied is sufficient. If required, you are able to go back and find items you now need to paste again. However, there are situations that are a little more demanding.
What about copying a range of items and then pasting them all somewhere with a single click?
I have the need for this functionality every day. I copy URLs to be included as resources for content I create. It would be extremely time consuming to copy 20 URLs and then have to manually paste each one separately into the resources file I'm creating.
Enter Paste Queue, from the same developer that makes my clipboard extender of choice Copy 'Em
I open the Paste Queue window and start copying, using any standard copy method. Each element copied is placed in the Paste Queue window. I can delete any that aren't required and when ready paste all of them with a single shortcut anywhere I need them.
Paste Queue is a fantastic compliment to Copy 'Em and I wouldn't want to be without either of them
