Writing

Welcome! I write about learning, mental health, personal finance, fantasy and non-fiction books, productivity, mindset, and prioritizing.

I love exploring digital writing.

I write every day, and I have a few tools I use all the time. These tools are involved in the process from the idea until I'm ready to hit publish. They are essential in my daily writing habits, and I recommend them highly.

M favorite writing tools:

#1: Scrivener, an excellent writing software. This is where I gather ideas, get an overview of my stories, and write my text. I have the text I have written and my research in the same project and still manage to keep it under control.

#2: Thesaurus.com is the master of synonyms. Here you will always find one (or many) other words for what you want to express.

#3: Merriam-Webster is a fantastic online dictionary. I use it to see word definitions, synonyms, and how to use the word in a sentence.

#4: Grammarly helps me with spelling and grammar. Nothing gets published until Grammarly has approved the text.

#5: Hemingway App. I use it to make sure my text is easy to read. It provides feedback on things like the number of adverbs, the use of passive voice, alternative spellings, and sentence length.

#6: Emojipedia, because each story needs just the right emoji? ☕ Find the emojis you are looking for and their meaning.

I want to discover more useful tools. Do you have a favorite writing tool to recommend?
