Last Friday a friend asked me if I thought he should take @ship30for30

I thought hard about the cohort and him before answering.

Before we start, here's a quick summary.

Ship30 is a month long writing cohort with

• Weekly input sessions on digital writing

• A daily commitment to write and publish for 30 days

Who is Ship30 for?

I've met 100s of different people but here's what united us.

1. They wanted to build a creation habit

2. They were open to having their beliefs challenged

3. They wanted to learn how to create content that stand out

Who is #Ship30for30 not for

• You can't find 30 mins to an hour a day to write

• You don't want to connect with a community

• You don't like having your ideas challenged

You'll notice I didn't include

• People who don't like writing

• People who have a lot of commitments

• And people who are afraid to share their work

If that's you, ship30 will be harder for you, but it will help you grow (if you let it).

In the end, my friend decided he shouldn't do it in August.

He just can't make the 30m-1hr daily commitment then.
