In fact, I have listened to so many pitches that I've learned what most people forget to mention.

What do most forget when presenting?

I usually ask the same three questions every time I hear a presentation:

Question #1: Who are the team?

I've heard so many presentations without:

Presentation of themself (don't forget your name in the beginning!)
Talk about their expertise
Talk about their team expertise/knowledge

Question #2: What are your investment needs?

I've heard so many presentations without:

A clear CTA
The investment need
Contact information (from you)
Investment plan (what are you going to use the money on)

Quick note: Don't do "I'm looking for between 1-15 million". That's a mistake. Ask for something specific.

Question #3: How far have you come?

I've heard so many presentations without:

Picture/drawing of the product
Unclear if the product exists or not
If not ready - milestone plan for when the MVP is ready
If you avoid talking in morse code and do communicate clearly, you'll unlock happy investors as an outcome.

Easy, right?
