Your Mac's spinning beach ball is actually trying to tell you something.
Here’s how to Force Quit a hanging app on your Mac:
Click the Apple menu in the upper-left corner of your screen.
Choose “Force Quit” from the drop-down menu.
Select the app that’s not responding in the “Force Quit Applications” window.
Click “Force Quit” to close the app immediately.
Or use a shortcut:
Press Command + Option + Escape.
Select the app and click “Force Quit.”
If all else fails:
Restart your Mac by holding the power button.
Don’t let unresponsive apps slow you down—take control!
