I am fried.
The car still isn't fixed, the cat survived his medical emergency, and I'm halfway through my own dental drama... Perhaps "fried" is an understatement. I didn't have time to plan, record, edit, and upload the Fearless 5 Podcast for next week.
So I'll unpack a huge mistake I'm making instead.
I have created 266 podcast episodes since 2019.
What this means is I ship 5 episodes a week, upload show notes, and then write social posts for the episodes. It sounds like a lot, but I have created a workflow that makes it possible (through trial and error).
But here's the problem: Each podcast gets 2 social posts and I move on.
There are likely a few podcasts I did last month (last year, or in 2020) that I can promote again!
Content isn't a "set it and forget it" way of life!
I could do quite a few things here to help my little podcast grow that have nothing to do with making new episodes. I'm talking about content repurposing!
This will be a good week for me to do some reviewing of old episodes.
I can transcribe some of them into blogs. There can also be opportunities to create audio and video shorts. I can also create graphics, even if it's just "pull quotes" of something I said on mic.
Of course, I'll be seeking sparks of new ideas.
