There are 3 topics I am actively thinking about a lot these days:

Topic #1: Creative Business

I am interested in creative business for one big reason: I'm running one! This is probably where I spend most of my time learning from those that have gone before me. Here's your reminder that you don't have to reinvent the wheel.

And my hope is that over the next five years, as I continue to learn more and more, I'll be able to build a seven-figure creative brand.

Topic #2: Illustration

I first got interested in illustration a when I joined Instagram for the first time.

I began following accounts related to the animation industry because I always wanted to be an animator—and since then, I have learned a lot about the importance of a consistent art practice, trying new styles or mediums, and understanding light.

Topic #3: Finding a Work-Life Balance

I also have an interest in learning more about finding balance because the line between personal and business often gets blurred as an entrepreneur. I can work morning to night without even noticing, so I make a point of making time for my personal life. One of the main things I research is automation so that I can be maximally productive with my time and enjoy my down time.

It's one of those rabbit holes I find myself exploring because balance doesn't come naturally to me.
