Welcome to my Social Blog

The program we designed to help people design 'Cohort Based Courses' is now 2 weeks long.

By the end of 2 weeks, students would design and demo a CBC-ready micro-lesson.

However, we noticed that a good chunk of the students were struggling with a problem even more fundamental👇🏼

They needed lot of help in experimenting & iterating around choosing their course topic and audience.

Within someone who's a domain expert with at least 7 years of experience, there's at least 2-3 different courses.

Choosing what to teach is an important early decision to make.

Which among the 2/3 topics that they can effectively teach, should they pick as the Course topic?

Or should they work backwards after defining an audience they love to serve?

At this juncture, Online Course Creation feels like a Blackbox to them.

Students need a structured process to navigate this uncertainty.

More than handholding around the full drill of end to end Course Creation; they are seeking a quick tour of the full process.

Pausing & Reflecting on the new info gained should ideally be the next step.

Choosing the right audience to serve and the right topic to teach is a process that's very iterative.

It'll be waste of time to spend hours on Curriculum on any topic, without arriving at what we define as 'Market Course Teacher Fit 🎯'

Our new 2 day program is designed specifically to address the above mentioned problem.
