Using FB Instant Forms is the ultimate hack when it comes to rapidly building your email list.

If you've ever created a lead magnet before, you know that only 10-20% of landing page visitors opt in. And if you're running ads to that landing page, that percentage is usually even lower. But since 2020, I've driven ad traffic to Instant Forms instead of external landing pages...and I see an average opt-in rate of 80%.

Here's how you can use Instant Forms to do the same:

Step #1: Create a FB ad campaign and set the objective to "leads."

Set your conversion location to "instant forms."

This tells Facebook that you want to send traffic to a form rather than an external webpage. From a user perspective, this means that when someone clicks on your ad, an opt-in form will appear directly within Facebook rather than sending them to a separate landing page.

Step #2: Follow the steps to create your Instant Form.

You'll see the option to "create new instant form" after you build the ad.

This process is pretty straightforward: Just follow their instructions to add your headline, form fields, and confirmation message. Just make sure you have your website's privacy policy handy because they'll want a link to that as part of the process.

Step #3: Connect the Instant Form to your CRM or email marketing platform.

Once someone completes your Instant Form, they need to get sent over to your CRM.

Go to Meta Business Suite > All Tools > Instant Forms > CRM Setup to connect your form. Once you set up that connection, double check any automations in your email marketing platform to make sure they're firing correctly.
